HIPAA Privacy

The HIPPA Privacy Rule establishes national standards to protect individuals’ medical records and other personal health information. HIPPA regulations apply to health plans, health care clearinghouses, and those health care providers that conduct certain health care transactions electronically. HIPPA requires appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy of personal health information. It sets limits and conditions on the uses and disclosures that may be made of such information without patient authorization. Additionally, HIPPA gives you rights over your health information, including rights to examine and obtain a copy of your health records, and to request corrections. To learn more about HIPPA rules and regulations, please visit the HIPPA government website. Our office is fully HIPPA compliant and we do not share or release your personal information to anyone without your written, expressed consent.
